Sharing notes with your therapist, on your terms.
Some things are easier to say into your phone than to bring up cold in a session. thred lets you send your therapist a summary before you meet, so the session can start where you actually are.
Preview it first
See exactly what your therapist will see, and turn off any section you'd rather keep to yourself.
Protect it with a code
Choose a 4-digit access code and send it separately from the link. The link doesn't open without it.
No account needed
Your therapist opens the link and enters the code. They don't need to sign up for anything.
It doesn't last forever
Links stop working after 30 days, and you can expire one sooner whenever you like.
Why share before a session
Sessions are short. If your therapist already knows what's been on your mind, less of that time goes on catching up and more goes on whatever matters most to you that week.
It can also help with the things that are hard to start talking about. Once they're in the summary, they're already on the table.
Talking to your therapist about it
It's worth mentioning in a session before you send your first summary, so your therapist knows to expect it and can say how they'd like to use it. Some will read it beforehand; others might prefer to look at it with you.
Start the session where you are.
